Sweet Sophie

I thoroughly enjoy the hilarious things Sophie comes out with and I am sure this blog will fill up quickly with "Sophieisms" as my Mum calls them. This morning was another treat that I just have to share...

We had run out of butter yesterday so I got another tub out of the freezer, no big deal really. Or so I thought. As I buttered Sophie's toast she enthusiastically asked "Did you get more butter?" to which I nodded. "What, from the Supermarket?" to which I nodded again. Then, with such heartfelt thanks, she throws her arms around me and says "Oh thank you so much Mummy, I am so happy! I love you". I had a little chuckle and told her that it was my pleasure. I thought that was the end of it but moments later when I gave Sophie her toast she tells me "You know what, you are the perfect Mum to have in a house".

Of all the wonderful things I do for Sophie and Elliott to keep me in the running for mother of the year (ha!!), apparently all I need to do is make sure we have butter for breakfast.
